We used TDS Removals today to move our things from a storage facility to our new house. Sebastian and his colleagues Leonard and Viorel did an absolutely fabulous job! We were so impressed by their ultra quick and efficient way of getting the job done!
They even included a short stop over to collect a few more boxes without additional costs.
Communication with Gabriel regarding the quote and booking was also great! Very quick responses and always informative and polite. Would 100% recommend!

First off, the pro’s. The cost, including packing and assembly was great, the cheapest we have found. Pretty flexible also. Gabriel, who I dealt with prior to moving day was fantastic. Very communicative, professional and responded to my enquiries in a quick friendly manner. We had a lot of stuff to move to a long distance. We were assured everything would be packed up and moved over 2 days and it was. The movers arrived early and got the job done! Cons:- packing is a bit chaotic. Upon unpacking our boxes, we have parts of dirty garden toys in with our kitchen appliances. No idea how this happened as the toys were kept in the garage……
We had some fireworks we bought for our children for a celebration. One of the movers set off a rocket in our garden in broad daylight. Not very professional at all plus it was our belongings. Not impressed!!
My husband was staying at our old house for a couple days to finish off handing it over. He kept aside a blow up mattress, cat crate and litter tray for transporting our cat to new house and told the movers not to pack them. They packed them! He managed to get the cat things, but his blow up bed was too far back in the van so he had to sleep on the floor for 3 nights which didn’t do his bad back any good! Also they forgot to pack items such as hoover, shelf and a few other bits. Upon delivery at the house, most boxes have been placed in wrong rooms and shoved in garage. My babies wardrobe had been emptied and replaced with my husbands clothes, and all her nice baby clothes, on hangers had been shoved in a box. Upon settling the bill, they were struggling to get a signal on their payment machine, tried to get me to pay the full amount, saying they have no record of me paying £700 deposit and that I should pay the full amount and claim a refund for the excess. Erm, nope! They soon realised I was correct and I was able to pay the right amount. Overall, they got the job done. Not to a great standard though. Would I use them again, probably not.
May 2025: so a year has passed, we are settled in our new home and decided to get the bbq going - hasn’t been touched since TDS put it in our garden when delivering our goods. What a mess! A pipe is broken and screws are missing. I’m honestly surprised these guys are still in business and more so, they have positive reviews?! We have had thousands of pounds worth of items damaged by TDS. Don’t touch with a barge pole. Spend the bit of extra money and get the professionals in. You get what you pay for

5* service by the team, friendly, efficient and very careful with fragile items. Packed and protected items very well including dismantling and reassembling of furniture. Would definitely recommend.

I recently moved up north to Northumberland, from Essex. After much searching around for removal men to move my furniture up north, I found TDS Removals. They did an incredible job, they secured all my furniture safely in the van, not just put in. All my furniture arrived in perfect condition without it being knocked. They charged a very good price for it all too. Leonard and viorel even put my furniture into all the individual rooms. I can't recommend them highly enough. It was definitely a five star service.
